Course Description
This course is intended to introduce the basics of the calculus of functions of several variables. Topics include:
- Euclidean space and its geometry
- Calculus on curves
- Limits and differentiability, including partial derivatives and the chain rule
- Derivative tests and Lagrange multipliers
- Taylor polynomials
- The implicit function theorem
