Course Description
You will be evaluated by homework, quiz, midterms and final examinations. Homework problem will be assigned weekly. Only two sets of homework will be required to hand in and graded. Please pay attention, NOT ALL homework problems have to be taught in class. If you see some unfamiliar homework problems, please try your best to work out. Otherwise I would be very pleased to discuss them with you. Starting from the second week (the week starting on Sept. 9), there will be a 15-min short quiz on each Thursday course. The quiz is used to test basic concepts that you will have learned. Please be reminded that all the course works will be returned on your tutorial class.
