Abstract: 

Some may hold the view that it doesn't take much preparation to be a school teacher, given the relatively easier entry requirement to the field. Also, some may have the perception that school teachers are bound to limited life exposure as they dedicate most of their time in the school setting. However, is that the case?

About the speaker:

Mr. Tak Yee Lung is a retired secondary school principal. He is an experienced Mathematics teacher and served as the chairperson of the Curriculum Development Council Committee on Mathematics Education of the HKSAR Government. He is currently an honorary curriculum consultant and a part-time instructor of the Program for the Gifted and Talented at the Faculty of Education, CUHK. He is also the chairperson of our Mathematics Alumni Association.
