• There will be no tutorial classes in the first week.
• There will be no tutorial classes in the second week.
• No homework in the first week.
• The course outline has been updated (Sept 7)
• Tutorial classes start next week (Sept 14)
• HW2 could be submitted through Gradescope or by box-deposit.
• Beginning from Ex 3 all HW should be submitted through Gradescope before the deadline. HW submitted after deadline will not be graded.
• Quiz 1 (W3, 5, Oct 5) covering 15.1-15.3.
• Midterm on Oct 24 (Mon) covering 15.1-15.7.
• Midterm is a closed book one.
• Quiz 2 will be held on Nov 9. It covers 15.8, 16.1 and 16.2.
• Midterm results will be announced later. Those who want to take a look at their papers could see me from 10-11:30 on Wed (Nov 2).
• Solution to Midterm has been posted. (Oct 31)
• Midterm Exam: Mean 60.9, SD 23.7
• Those scores less than 35 are not in good shape.
• Lecture will be held as usual. (10:15 Nov 2)
• Ex 8 has been modified but homework is unchanged.
• Special tutorials: W3 at Rm 219, Lady Shaw Building
• Special tutorials will be held on Nov 16, 23, 30 replacing the regular ones. It is tailored for those who did not do well in the midterm exam.
• On Nov 16, will review Double Integrals and Line Integrals..
• Special tutorial 2: W3 Nov 23. Will discuss Triple integrals (15.5, 15.7) and Green's theorem (16.4).
• Quiz 3 will be held on Nov 30 W4 in lecture (not tutorial).
• It covers 16.4, 16.5 and 16.6.
• Special tutorial 3: W3 Nov 30. Will cover surface integrals and Change of variables formula.
• Reminder: Quiz 3 in W4 on Nov 30
• Last tutorial: W4 on Nov 7, LT4.
• There will be no tutorials on W3,5.
