MATH4400 Project

Course Description

A project in pure or applied mathematics, either in research or in reviewing the literature of an advanced topic. Each section may be taken by an individual student or a team of two students.

Prerequisite(s)

Permission of the instructor and satisfaction of at least one of the following conditions:
  1. with Major GPA in the preceding academic term of at least 3.3;
  2. with cumulative Major GPA of at least 3.3; and
  3. any special case explicitly endorsed by the Board of the Department.

MATH2050/2058 or MATH2060/2068

Application deadline

The deadline for submission of application is 2nd July 2023.
NO late application will be entertained.

Please note:---
  1. MATH4400 and MATH4900 are mutually exclusive. You will become ineligible for taking MATH4900 once you are given permission to take MATH4400.
  2. You are allowed to submit only one application for MATH4400. If you are found to have submitted more than one application, all your submissions may be regarded as null and void.
