Course Description

This course will be conducted in a seminar fashion with a theme called "Hyperbolic Manifolds of 2 and 3 dimensions'". Topics are on various aspects of this theme. We will only focus on the elementary perspectives though the subject may extend very deep into mathematics, physics, and other areas. The emphasis is on the analytical (including differentiable) features, which is more related to your undergraduate training. We will avoid the axiomatic synthetic approach.
