Course Description

Math 6221 Topics in Numerical Analysis I Professor Yongzhi Steve Xu Mo 09:30 - 12:15, Lady Shaw Bldg 222, 07/01/2019 – 15/04/2019. The topics of this class are on numerical methods for inverse scattering problems and related topics. The tentative topics are: Helmholtz equations Numerical methods for direct scattering problems and integral equations Numerical methods for Inverse scattering problems Numerical methods for other applications The topics include physical background, mathematical theory and numerical methods.
