Course Description
The course is intended to discuss mathematical methods frequently applied in mana- gerial, business and social studies. It starts with a review of Linear Equations, then the main topics are selected from Linear Programming and Simplex Method, Game Theory, Basic Finance Mathematics, Mathematical Modelling. (Not for undergradu- ate students, students in the MSc. Programme in Mathematics, and students who have taken MAT/MATH5011, 5012, 5031, 5032, 5051, 570S, 6xxx and 7xxx.)
