The Faculty Tutor Q&A Centre (MathGym) consists of two rooms, LG102 and LG104 in Science Centre East Block. It mainly provides a discussion platform for undergraduates to gain a better understanding of course materials and improve problem-solving skills.
What can the Faculty Tutor Q&A Centre do for students?
The Department of Mathematics will offer two consultation desks in LG104. Our tutors will sit down with you on a one-to-one basis, and discuss your math problems. Appointments are available through this online booking system on a first-come, first-served basis. You are welcome to stay in the Centre and study, meeting our tutors as questions arise. With no cost to you, just stop by and we will be happy to assist you!
Many individual study tables, as well as a few long and wide tables, can be found in LG102. Not only does this place allow you to work at your own pace, but it also allows you to form your own groups and discuss math problems with each other.
