Course Description

This is the first part of the year-long course on Linear Algebra. Linear Algebra is a branch of mathematics which studies the families of vectors and the transformations between them. It has important applications in both pure and applied mathematics.

In the first term, we will look at basic materials of vector spaces, linear transformations, matrices, elementary matrix operations, system of linear equations and determinants. These are covered in Chapter 1-4 of the textbook.
