    1. Hong Kong International Airport → CUHK Campus

      By Taxi:

      The trip from the Airport to the CUHK campus is about 45 minutes. The fare is about $300. Most taxi drivers in Hong Kong understand some English. The following texts may come in handy:

      By Airport Bus and Taxi/MTR Train:

      Take airport bus route number A41 from the airport to the Shatin Station. The bus runs from 06:00 to 24:00 at 20-minute intervals. The Shatin Central Bus Terminal is not the terminal stop for the bus, so ask the driver where to get off or pay attention to the announcement. It should be the first bus-stop after a long tunnel. The bus ride takes 65-70 minutes depending on traffic conditions. The fare is HK$21 payable on boarding bus in exact charge.

        From the Shatin Station, you can take a taxi to the University. The fare is about HK$ 50. It will take about 15 minutes.

      • MTR Train (Not recommended if you have bulk luggage)

        Alternatively, from the Shatin Station, you can take the train to the University Station (second stop from Shatin). The trains run every 5 to 10 minutes from 06:00 to 24:00. The train ride takes about 9 minutes. The fare is HK$ 4.

        There are four exits at the University Station — three to the CUHK campus (Exits A, C and D) and the fourth to the public bus terminus and taxi stand. The CUHK exits will lead to the University campus.

        Upon exiting the University Station Exit A, you should turn right. There is a University shuttle bus stop on the right hand side of the station exit. Please refer to the following sections for details of the university shuttle bus.

    2. University MTR Station → Lady Shaw Building

      Take Shuttle Bus Route No. 1A / 1B and get off at "Sir Run Run Shaw Hall" stop

      Note: The Department of Mathematics and the workshop venue LT2 are located on the second and first floor of Lady Shaw Building respectively.

    4. University MTR Station ↔ University Guesthouse

      (a) Take university shuttle bus route no. 1A, 1B to "Sir Run Run Shaw Hall" stop and walk to Guesthouse

      (b) Take university shuttle light bus and get off at the “University Health Centre”, which is next to the Guesthouse. Please refer to "Shuttle Light Bus" Service Timetable

    5. Banquet Venue (Victoria Harbour Restaurant)
