Background & Aims

The International Workshop on Scientific Computing for Young Chinese Mathematicians is held on March 15-17, 2013 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Scientific Computing is an active research area, which has important applications to a wide range of disciplines such as engineering, finance, imaging, computer visions, computational biology and so on.

The aim of this workshop is to provide a forum for active young researchers in scientific computing, who received their PhDs after July 2007, to exchange ideas and present their latest works, as well as to explore exciting new directions in the areas.

It highlights recent advances in theoretical, computational and practical aspects of scientific computing.
