  2. Hong Kong International Airport → CUHK Campus / Yali Guest House

    By Taxi:

    The trip from the Airport to the CUHK campus is about 45 minutes. The fare is about $300. You can either take the green or red taxi. Most taxi drivers in Hong Kong understand some English. The following texts may come in handy:

    Please present the following text to taxi driver instead if you would go to Yali Guest House directly:

    香港中文大學 雅禮賓館 (保健處旁) (司機請於大學門口向保安組人員查詢詳細位置)

    By Airport Bus and then Taxi/MTR Train: (Not recommended if you have bulk luggage)

    Take airport bus route number A41 from the airport to the Shatin MTR Station. The bus runs from 06:00 to 24:00 at 20-minute intervals. You should get off at the "Shatin Central Bus Terminus 沙田市中心巴士總站" stop. However it is not the terminal stop for the bus, so ask the driver where to get off or pay attention to the announcement. It should be the first bus stop after a long tunnel. The bus ride takes 45-60 minutes depending on traffic conditions. The fare is HK$23 payable on boarding bus in exact charge.

    At Shatin MTR Station, connected by:

    • Taxi

      You can take a taxi to the University. The fare is about HK$70. It will take about 15 minutes.

    • MTR Train

      Alternatively, you can take the train to the University MTR Station (second stop from Shatin). The trains run every 5 to 10 minutes from 06:00 to 24:00. The train ride takes about 9 minutes. The fare is HK$4.

      At University MTR Station, take exit A. Then you should turn right. There is a University shuttle bus stop on the right hand side of the station exit. Please refer to section 5 for details of the university shuttle bus.

  3. Hong Kong International Airport → Royal Park Hotel

    By Taxi:

    The fare is about $300. The address of Royal Park Hotel is 8 Pak Hok Ting Street, Shatin. You may present the note card in this pdf file to the taxi driver to avoid mis-communication.

    By Airport Bus:

    Take airport bus route number A41 from the airport. You should get off at Royal Park Hotel 帝都酒店 bus stop. The bus ride takes 45-60 minutes depending on traffic conditions. The fare is HK$23 payable on boarding bus in exact charge.

  4. Hong Kong International Airport → Hyatt Regency Hotel Hong Kong, Shatin

    By Taxi:

    The fare is about $300. The address of Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Shatin 沙田凱悅酒店 is 18 Chak Cheung Street, Shatin. You may present the note card in this pdf file to the taxi driver to avoid mis-communication.

    1. Take university shuttle bus route no. 1A / 1B / H to "Sir Run Run Shaw Hall" stop and walk to Yali Guest House
