Mathematical Modelling Competition for Secondary Students (MMCSS) 2025/26
「中學生數學建模比賽 2025/26」(New)
In the competition, students are required to demonstrate their understanding in Mathematical Modelling and applications of Mathematics in solving a problem based on real-life scenario. The five top-performing teams from the senior secondary division will represent Hong Kong to participate in the 2026 HSMMC tentatively scheduled for July 2026.
在是次比賽中，參賽學生將體驗利用自身對數學建模及其應用的理解，嘗試解決與現實生活情景相關的問題。 在比賽中表現優異的五隊高中組學生隊伍，將代表香港參與暫定於 2026 年 7 月舉行的「2026年香港－上海中學生數學建模比賽」。

Eligibility of Mathematical Modelling Competition for Secondary Students 參賽資格:

All secondary school students 全港中學生

Each team consists of 4 - 6 secondary school students, enrolled in the same school. There must be 1 teacher from that school as a supervising teacher. 比賽以隊際形式進行，每隊參賽隊伍需由同一所學校就讀的 4 - 6 名中學生組成，且由該校1名教師作為領隊教師

Each school can enroll at most 2 teams of Junior Secondary students and 2 teams of Senior Secondary students in the Competition. 每所學校只可提名最多 2 隊初中隊伍及2隊高中隊伍參加比賽

Junior Secondary students refer to S1-S3 students in local secondary schools. 初中隊伍的成員，只限於本地中學的中一至中三學生

Senior Secondary students refers to S4-S6 students in local secondary schools. 高中隊伍的成員，只限於本地中學的中四至中六學生

The 1st Hong Kong-Shanghai Mathematical Modelling Competition for Secondary Students (HSMMC)

The competition was successfully held at CUHK from 27 July 2025 to 2 August 2025. Five senior secondary student teams representing Hong Kong and five senior secondary student teams representing Shanghai participated in the competition. The event has been highlighted by the Secretary for Education [see

4].
比賽已於 2025 年 7 月 27 日至 2025 年 8 月 2 日在香港中文大學順利舉行，共有五支代表香港的高中學生隊伍及和五支代表上海的高中學生隊伍參與。活動獲教育局局長重點介紹[見
