Dear participants,

Learning Calculus using animation is fun. We provide you with an online learning platform that interacts with you in a real time manner as you press a few buttons, slide the bars and type some mathematical answers. There are eight units:

  1. Fermat's Principle implies Snell's Law
  2. The Mathematics of Bungee Jumping
  3. Curve Fitting
  4. Differentiation and Newton’s Method: Homemade Calculator
  5. Calculus of Variations: Brachistochrone Curve
  6. Approximation Methods and Error Estimates
  7. Introduction to Artificial Neural Networks
  8. Inequalities

From easy to moderate to hard problems, these project-based learning units will provide you with hands-on experience to see how different physical problems can be solved by calculus techniques. These cool problems can be viewed as out of class learning activities.
