Title: Ricci flows with unbounded curvature and their applications

Abstract: Let M be a complete noncompact Riemannian manifold. A classical theorem by Shi states that if the curvature is bounded, then the metric can be deformed along the Ricci direction with improved geometric quantity. In this talk, we will survey some known existence result with unbounded curvature initially. We will also discuss some recent works on the study of Gromov Hausdorff limit space using Ricci flow technique.

Title: Introduction to Hamiltonian Stationary Lagrangian submanifolds and a compactness theorem in 2 dimension

Abstract: In this talk, we introduce the notion of Hamiltonian Stationary Lagrangian submanifolds and discuss their basic properties. We also prove a compactness theorem in 2 dimension.

Title: Regularity for the gradient flow of a spinorial functional

Abstract: In this talk I'll introduce a gradient flow first studied by Ammann, Weiss and Witt, which was aimed to find parallel spinors. And I'll present recent joint work with Changliang Wang on the regularity of this flow.
