Abstract:
In this talk I will introduce a new type of fractals which is related to open dynamical systems with a moving hole. Our family includes Moran fractals and graph-directed fractals as special cases. We will prove that for any set in our family the Hausdorff and lower box dimensions coincide, and the packing and upper box dimensions also coincide.
