From the China border by train
The Chinese University is along the train
line of Kowloon-Canton Railway (KCR). It is very easy to get to
by train. You may refer to the network map
(English or
Chinese version)
of the Kowloon-Canton Railway. The China border is at the north while The
Chinese University is at the middle.

The Conference Venue is Rm 126, Institute of Chinese Studies
of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The building is at the
central campus located at mid-level of the campus hill,
and there is a museum inside the building. It's building H14
in the campus map.

After crossing the China-Hong Kong border, you are
at KCR Lo Wu Station (north of the blue line).

Take the KCR train to "University Station". The trip takes 20 minutes.
Train runs every 5 to 10 minutes from 05:30 to 00:25.

If you exit to the right hand side (west) of the station, you are
already within the university campus. The other side is the bus
terminus for the public.

The KCR train station is at the bottom-right of the campus map.

Follow the yellow line to the campus bus station.
Take the campus bus uphill and get off at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall
(the second stop).
The Insitute of Chinese Studies is only at 2-minute walk across the board
walk. Ask the students where the museum is and that is the building.

If you are going to the guest house, you may get off also at the
same campus bus stop and walk backward for 10 minutes. It's building H17
on the campus map.

Between 8:00 am to 10:45pm, you may call the guest house at 2603-6411 to
pick you up at the train station. Fare is HK$1 per person.
