From Conference Hotel to the University

The Conference will be held in Lecture Theatre LT3 at the Lady Shaw Building in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

By Train then Campus Bus or Van

Both The Chinese University and the Conference Hotel are along the train line of Kowloon-Canton Railway. It is very easy to get to both sites by train.

Walk through the mall (Grand Century Plaza) to the Kowloon-Canton Railway (KCR) and take the northbound trains (HK$6 < US$1). You may refer to the blue line in the railway map ( English or Chinese version).
Get off the train at the University Train Station, which is 5 stations away. The trip takes about 15-20 minutes and trains run at 5-minute intervals all day.
Exit the train station to the left (west), you are already inside the university campus. The other side is the bus terminus for the public.

Follow the yellow line to the campus bus station (opposite to the field). Take the campus bus uphill and get off at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall (the second station). Lady Shaw Building is only at 2-minute walk across the board walk and the Academic Building No.1 is 4 more minutes down the slope.
You may also take the campus van (at the round-about). Tell the driver where you are going when you board the van. The route essentially goes through every location that you may go to.

By Red Taxi

This is the best way especially if you come in a group of 3 to 5. Take a red taxi from the hotel. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the university and the fare is about HK$200 (US$25).

Usually, the taxi driver may not be familiar with the roads inside the campus. You may ask the guards at the entrance booth to direct the driver (again, the campus map and the Chinese texts may be useful).
