For a nonnegative matrix that satisfies some condition, we get sharper upper and lower bounds of Perron root of the matrix by choosing simple similarity transformation such that the transformed matrix still is nonnegative and its smallest row sum increases and its largest decreases. Some examples are given to show the new estimation method is effective.
