Course Description: 

Group theory: Lagrange theorem, normal subgroups, group homomorphism, isomorphism theorems, Cayley's theorem, Sylow's theorems, direct products, structure of finitely generated abelian groups. Ring theory: ring, ideal, maximal ideal, prime ideal and integral domain. Module theory: Fundamental theorem on finitely generated modules over principal ideal domain.
