• Due date of fifth assignment is 2nd, Dec., 2009!Don't hand in your HW after due date ,or you will get 0 point for your HW!
• Note the accuracy of the approximate solution mentioned in first two assignments is measured in terms of the error between two consecutive iterative solutions!
• The mean scores of mid-exam is 71.4 , SD is 12.22 , median is 73

General Information

Course Description

Floating-point numbers and roundoff errors, absolute and relative errors, stable and unstable computations, solutions of nonlinear equations, linear systems, interpolation, numerical differentiation, and numerical integration. Students taking this course are expected to have knowledge in advanced calculus and linear algebra.
