Introduction

This course is intended to provide conceptual understandings and computational techniques of linear algebra. Topics include: Gaussian elimination, theory of simultaneous linear equations, matrices, determinants, vectors spaces, bases and linear independence.

Textbook

Textbook: Friedberg, Insel, Spencer, Linear Algebra fourth edition , Chapter 1-4
(the same text book I used when I was an undergraduate. I don't know the book survives that long!)

Homework

Homework questions will be taken from the textbook and will be posted weekly on internet.

The solutions are provided by the courtesy of the TA's. They are for reference only.
