Course Description

Weˇ¦ll cover basic materials of the differential geometry of curves and surfaces in Euclidean 3-space. Topics include curvature, torsion and Frenet frame of a regular curve; Gauss map, Gaussian curvature and mean curvature of a regular surface; constant mean curvature surfaces and minimal surfaces; geodesics and Gauss-Bonnet Theorem.
